New Hampshire Banks Participate in Statewide #NHBanksGiveBack Month of Service

New Hampshire Bankers Association organized its third annual month of service event (tagged #NHBanksGiveBack on social media) during the month of October to highlight the collective efforts by New Hampshire’s banking industry to support local communities through community service and financial support. 27 member banks participated in this coordinated volunteer month of service where they are asked to engage in one or more of their regularly scheduled community service efforts.

“We are thrilled with the results of this year’s 3rd Annual ‘NH Banks Give Back” campaign. In just three short years, the volunteer efforts of our member banks have contributed more than $1.3 million in financial support to our state and communities, backed by over 5,000 volunteer hours spread out over more than 800 charitable events.” said Kristy Merrill, President of NH Bankers.

“Our member banks and their thousands of employees proudly serve their greater communities every day – not just through helping people achieve their dreams through a small business loan or buying their first home – but through community service and financial support. The photos included tell a wonderful story of a commitment to consistently doing good and the enduring value of civic leadership and community engagement by New Hampshire’s banking industry.”
