New Chair, Officers and Directors Elected at Annual Meeting; Senator Dan Innis Named Legislative Champion
The New Hampshire Bankers Association elected Officers and Directors for the coming year during its Annual Meeting held on June 11, 2026, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The NH Bankers Association also recognized State Senator Dan Innis as its 2026 Legislative Champion for his leadership in advancing anti-fraud legislation to protect consumers and financial institutions.
Background on 2026-2027 NH Bankers Leadership
NH Bankers members elected Christopher Logan, President & CEO of Bank of New Hampshire, as Chair for the upcoming year. Logan succeeds James Brannen, CEO of First Seacoast Bank, who completed his term as Chair and concluded his service on the Board of Directors after years of dedicated leadership and service to the Association. NH Bankers also recognized Linda Lorden, President of Merrimack County Savings Bank, for her many years of service to the Board.

Background on NHBA Legislative Champion
NH Bankers recognized Senator Dan Innis as its 2026 Legislative Champion for his leadership in sponsoring and advancing SB 622, legislation designed to strengthen efforts to combat financial fraud. The new law provides additional tools to help financial institutions protect consumers from increasingly sophisticated scams and fraudulent activity.
Merrill said, “Fraud continues to be one of the greatest challenges facing financial institutions and consumers alike. Senator Innis demonstrated outstanding leadership by championing legislation that will help banks better protect their customers and communities. We are proud to recognize him as our Legislative Champion for 2026.”
Annual Meeting Highlights
The Annual Meeting featured discussions on some of the most pressing issues facing the banking industry, including artificial intelligence, digital assets, workforce development, and state legislative priorities.
Attendees heard from Representative Keith Ammon, Chair of the New Hampshire Commission to Study Stable Tokens, who provided an update on the state's work examining stablecoins, blockchain technology, and digital asset innovation.
The program also included sessions focused on helping banks prepare for and deploy artificial intelligence. Robert Francis Clifford and Michael Manley of NH Mutual Bancorp discussed how financial institutions can unlock greater value from their data to support AI initiatives. Attendees also heard from a panel of industry experts moderated by Jim Kisch, President & CEO of Passumpsic Bank, who has helped lead NH Bankers' work on artificial intelligence through its partnership with the NH Tech Alliance AI Task Force.
NH Bankers additionally recognized employees from member institutions who completed American Bankers Association certificate programs and highlighted the continued success of its Leadership Foundations Certificate Program developed in partnership with the University of New Hampshire. The Association reported that more than 1,000 bankers participated in NH Bankers educational programs during the past year.
Honoring Service and Welcoming New Leadership
The Association recognized the upcoming retirement of Suzanne McKee, Marketing & Communications Manager, following nine years of service to NH Bankers and a distinguished banking career. During the Annual Meeting McKee was presented with a formal resolution honoring her contributions to the Association, its member banks, and New Hampshire's banking industry.
The Association also welcomed McKenzie MacGibbon as its new Marketing & Communications Director. McKenzie has more than 8 years of experience in providing marketing and communications support to the US Navy, US Air Force, and a Senior U.S. Senator through time on Capitol Hill.
