2025 Community Banker of the Year Recognized

NH Bankers Association (NH Bankers) has announced their 2025 Community Banker of the Year as Tim Wade, Regional President for New Hampshire of M&T Bank.

NH Bankers President and CEO Kristy Merrill said, “Tim is a constant presence in the community, and so many nonprofits have been impacted by his service and help, either directly or indirectly. We are delighted that he is recognized and congratulate Tim.”

She continued, “Each year, we have an impressive slate of community-minded nominees — with this year’s group reflecting 125 years of experience in banking and service to over 50 professional and community organization boards and committees. Our nominees are a wonderful representation of the impact our bankers make in New Hampshire every day — not just through supporting our local economy via lending and financial support, but also through direct community service.”

Tim Wade brings 35 years of experience in commercial banking, distinguished by a career that combines strategic leadership with a deep personal commitment to client and community success.

  • Secured a $1.5 million grant from M&T Charitable Foundation to support the construction of the Mark Stebbins Community Center in West Manchester
  • Named one of the state’s most influential business leaders - NH200 list New Hampshire Business Review 2025
