Peer Today, Boss Tomorrow: Banking Supervisor Training

Peer Today, Boss Tomorrow: Banking Supervisor Training

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

This training prepares banking supervisors to successfully transition from peer to supervisor by building skills in setting boundaries, communicating expectations, and consistently enforcing policies in a regulated environment.

Through interactive, banking-specific case studies, participants actively work through real-world scenarios - such as performance issues, compliance risks, and navigating former peer relationships - to practice decision-making, discuss responses, and build confidence applying supervisory judgment.

Key Objectives

  • Navigate the Peer-to-Supervisor Transition: Build skills to set boundaries, manage former peer relationships, and lead with fairness and credibility.
  • Apply Effective Communication in Real Situations: Practice delivering clear expectations and handling difficult conversations through interactive case discussions.
  • Reinforce Consistency, Accountability, and Compliance: Use case-based scenarios to apply policies consistently, address issues early, and reduce organizational risk.
